Bird ID

Using Bird ID to Identify Species in Your Images

The Bird ID feature in FowlTracker helps you identify bird species in your uploaded images using AI. This guide will walk you through how to use this feature effectively.

Uploading Images for Analysis

To get started with Bird ID, upload your images to a hunt entry. Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Hunt Journal and select an existing entry or create a new one.
  2. Click on the "Add Images" button and select the images you want to upload.
  3. Save the hunt entry. The images will be automatically analyzed for bird species identification.

Viewing Analysis Results

Once the images are analyzed, you can view the results in the hunt entry. The identified species and their quantities will be displayed alongside each image.

Understanding the Analysis

The analysis results will show the species detected in each image along with the quantity of each species. If no species are detected, the analysis will indicate that no animals were found in the image.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with the Bird ID feature, here are some common troubleshooting steps:

  • Ensure the image quality is high – Blurry or low-resolution images may not be analyzed accurately.
  • Ensure birds are visible – If birds are too close together or you can't see enough of the bird, it's less likely to be recognized.
  • Contact support – If you continue to experience issues, reach out to our support team at support@fowltracker.com.
