Viewing Historical Waterfowl Activity for a Saved Location
The Location Historical Data page in FowlTracker provides key insights into past waterfowl activity at your saved locations. This allows you to analyze trends over multiple seasons and plan your hunts based on historical patterns.
Historical data combines both model sources at this location and keeps the strongest activity color for each date. If both models land in the same color bucket, Roosting is used as the tie-breaker.
This page includes:
- Waterfowl Activity Legend – A color-coded guide to interpreting waterfowl activity levels.
- Historical Data Table – A year-over-year comparison of model output for each day from November 1 to March 31.
- Best Windows to Hunt (Season-Averaged) – Calendar-day windows that average the strongest activity across available seasons.
The Best Windows section averages each calendar day (for example, March 15) across the seasons where data exists, then groups contiguous top days into simple hunt windows. This gives you shorter, repeatable timing guidance instead of a long list of individual dates.
